“ Probably the best Asian food in Town of Huntington with an outstanding bar too. The ambiance and service is excellent as well. ”
“ It's so hard today to find old school traditional Chinese food that is not takeout or made with air fried gizmos but here it is. Like in the old days you're seated by a 50's something waiter and fried noodles are placed on the table with a pot of piping hot tea and mustard and duck sauce. All good all standard. I went for lunch so I immediately turned to the back page of my menu where I found traditional lunch specials which came with choice of soup, or egg roll, white, brown or pork fried rice for $12. The rest of the menu had typical Chinese fare both Cantonese & Schezwan they also have sushi available. I started my lunch with hot and sour soup and some cold sesame noodles in hot sauce. The soup was very flavorful and one of the best I've had in a while. The cold noodles while delicious were a bit gloppy. As a main I had Schezwan beef which could have been a bit spicy for my taste but still a good dish. Also brought to the table was a 3 roll sushi lunch which came with choice of soup or salad. Like any Chinese order fortune cookies came at the end of the meal. Service was outstanding, food time from order to delivery at the table was fast and looking around I could see all other patrons in this busy restaurant were enjoying their meals. If you're looking for a nice lunch spot, or perhaps dinner, at a traditional Chinese restaurant this may be the place. ”
“ Old style Chinese , beautiful decor , great quality good , nice staff , great service , it's a hour ride for me , well worth it , don't pass it by, hope it stays , everything good disappears, ”
“ Omg! Delicious! We went for my brother's wedding dinner and omg! Everything was delicious . Service was spot on they were accommodating and very attentive and friendly. The party menu was perfect all choices were awesome. You get soup to nuts all delicious. We are definitely going back again with our friends. Thanks to Ray the owner and his staff my brother and new sister inlaw had a wonderful time. The restaurant is lovely and welcoming. Go check it out ”
“ One of the best traditional Chinese restaurants around. Take out is great but do yourself the favor and eat on site for the freshest quality, crispy food and kitschy ambiance. Be prepared to wait but worth it. Orange chicken, spare ribs and egg drop are top notch staples. Mai tai is not the best but not bad. ”
“ I can't believe I haven't wrote a review for Albert's. I've been either eating in the restaurant or ordering takeout from here for years. Some of my favorite things on the menu include the Sizzling rice soup, the spareribs, scallion pancakes, and the four seasons entree. Service is always excellent here and usually if you're eating in the restaurant, Albert is somewhere in the dining room. Because it's right in downtown, it's a usual spot for me as I can just pickup food right when I get off the train from work. Sometimes I'll just pick up an order of pork fried rice to eat with something I make at home. ”
“ Great service, good and ambiance. Always so welcoming like I am walking into the bar Cheers! They can accommodate any size party too. ”
“ Impeccable service. An older gentleman (who I assume is Mr. Albert himself?) walks around tends too all customers needs. My water was never half empty - he's lovely. I got sushi rolls and they were good. The hibachi options are great too. Cold beers and good food. ”
“ The food and service are great. Although, I think the portions are a bit skimpy. The steamed dumplings tasted good but were smaller than I expected. The portion of General Tso's chicken was also smaller than expected but tasted great. Compared to others at my table and the size portions they received, this didn't compare well. Albert walks around to and sure all is well and he is extremely nice. I will go back and try another dish. ”
“ Friendly staff, greeted us promptly and there was no wait! Extensive menu, anything you could hope for plus more from a fine Chinese restaurant. They start you with complementary fried wonton strips with mustard and plum sauce. We went for the Peking duck. Our server informed us it would be 25 minutes. It came out beautiful, golden and crispy! Slices to perfection and prepared table side in pancakes with scallions and hoisin. So yummy!!! BTW, free parking right next to the restaurant! Always a plus! ”
